Dr. Michael Harhay primarily pursues collaborative and methodological research in clinical trial design, critical care medicine, and transplantation. He is particularly interested in the analysis of clustered and informatively missing longitudinal data. Michael is currently funded by a K99/R00 from the NHLBI to develop a patient-centered outcome measure for acute respiratory failure trials. He completed his PhD in epidemiology and MS in statistics at the University of Pennsylvania in 2016. In 2018, Michael joined the Annals of the American Thoracic Society as a Statistical Editor.
